help me
hey all i need ur help i downloaded wwwthreat script and got it installed but im havin problem runnin it, when i installed the wwwthread sql file in db it had some error plz help me out as i dnt even knw much abt codin but yes i atleast knw how to create a db import the file and configure it on confi.php

Hi milu,
You don’t have to import sql file .
Just run the Installation Wizard from your forum install folder.
Be sure that you have done successfully bellow steps:
1) Uploaded all files of “WWWThreads” to your forum folder
2) Created Mysql database, user and connected user with database.
3) Set CHMOD / permission ( Chmod 777 ) ( Details in Install/Installation-help.txt file )
4) Run installation wizard from your forum/install/ -- location
5) Input the Mysql Sever Information, user name, password, and the login/password information for the administrator and other information on installation wizard.
6) After this has been done, Your Forum is successfully Installed.

Hi milu,
You are right, you don’t have to create any table. Just create a mysql database for your forum and create a user for this database and connect the user with database.
Make sure you Set CHMOD / permission ( Chmod 777 ) for required file/Folders ( Details in Install/Installation-help.txt file )
Input appropriate server, mysql & others information in installation wizard.
An Example:
Database Server : localhost
Database Name : Your forum database name here
Database User : Your forum database’s user Name here
Database Password : Your forum database’s user Password here
Database Prefix : Prefix for your forum database tables OR you can leave it as Blank
Administrator Username : Username for Forum Administrator here
Administrator Password : Password for Forum Administrator here
Administrator E-Mail : Administrator E-Mail address here
Registered to (username) : Your name here
Registered to (company) : Company Name here
Base Forum URL : Your forum Homepage URL here

thanks ill give it a try. ok i want to knw somethin m planin to make a cool forum site and i need someone to script me a good forum which has file sharin optoin and i dnt want a script that is bein used in some other site i want it to be copyright to me can u tell me how much it will cost?

Hi everyone. Can you please shine some light on the 2nd step of the installation process. I have no idea what this mySQL stuff is? Do I have to install or set up something with my host (dreamhost is what I'm using) or is it something much simpler. Also, please expand on the description of what goes in these fields, a specific example would work great (THANK YOU!!!)
